A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution recommending denial
of a change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned
and described, after having fixed a time and place for the holding of a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having duly held and conducted
such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones,
and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested
therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal
resolution its findings of facts and declare its opinions and reasons
for recommending denial of said proposed change in the boundaries of
the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the 19th
day of ,Lune 1 9 62 as the time and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hear-
ing upon said proposed change of zone or zones and did give notice there-
of in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Muni-
cipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and did
give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did
receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the recommenda-
tions of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone or zones in
which it is now situated to a different zone, as hereinafter set forth,
is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now incorporated
and that a change of zone should not be granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the,City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
PARCEL 1:
The following described portion of Tract No. 613, in the County
of Orange, Stateof California, as shown on a map thereof recorded
in book 19, page 19, Miscellaneous Naps, records of said Orange
County:
Beginning at a point in the North line of said Tract 613 (said
North line being the center line of Placentia -Yorba Boulevard);
said point being 685.30 feet N. 87° 19 West from the Northeast

corner of said Tract 613; running thence South 87° 19'
East 685.30 feet along said North line to the said North-
east corner; thence South 7° 15 East L159.38 feet along
Easterly line of said Tract 613; thence North 37 19' feet
West 685.30 feet to a point in a line described as follows:
Beginning at a point located 685.30 feet North 87° 19' irlest
and 278.34 feet South 7° 15' East from the Northeast corner
of said Tract 613, running thence South 7° 15 East parallel
to the Easterly line of said Tract 613, to a point in the
Southerly line thereof; thence North 7 15 West 181.04 feet
along said described line to its Northern terminous; thence
North 7° 15 Vest 278.34 feet, to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom. the Northerly 195 feet, measured e
the Easterly line, of the Easterly 203 feet thereof, measured
along the Northerly line.
PARCEL 2:
The Northerly 195 feet, measured along the Easterly line,
of the Easterly 203 feet, measured along the Northerly
line, of Tract No. 613, in the County of Orange, State of
California, as shown on a map thereof recorded in book 19,
page 19, of Miscellaneous Naps, records of said Orange
County, the Easterly and Northerly lines of said tract
being the center lines of the streets shown on said map.
PARCEL 3:
Beginning at a point in the South line cf said Tract No.
613, said point being 223.110 feet North 73° 12 East from
the Southwest corner of said Tract No. 613; runninc thence
North 7 15' West, 1230.60 feet to a point in a line described
as follows:
Beginning at a point located 685.30 feet North 87 19 Jest
and 276.34 feet South 7° 15 East from the Northeast corner
of said Tract No. 613; running thence South 75 21 hest
to a point in the Westerly line of said Tract No. 613, said
point being 570.00 feet South 18° 11' West from the most
Northwest corner of said Tract No. 613; thence North 75 20
East 198.86 feet along the said described line; thence South
7° 15 East, 1223.20 feet to a point in the South line of
said Tract No. 613; thence South 73° 12' West, 199.96 feet
to the point of beginning;
EXCEPTING therefrom the Southerly 20 feet as granted to the
County of Orange for road purposes, by deed recorded February
24, 1926, in book 626, page 387, Deeds, records of said
Orange County.
PARCEL 4:
That portion of Tract No. 613, as shown on a map thereof
recorded in book 19, page 19, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point located 685.30 feet North 870 19' hest
and 278.34 feet South 7° 15 East from the Northeast corner
of said Tract No. 613, and running thence South 7 15 East

parallel to the Easterly line of said tract, to the Southerly
line of said tract; thence South 73° 12' West along said
Southerly line, 607.0 feet, more or less, to a point which
is distant thereon North 73° 12' East 4 feet from the
Southwest corner of said tract; thence North 7° 15' West 1223.20
feet to the intersection with a line extending South 75° 20'
lest from the point of beginning to a point in the Iesterly line
of said Tract No. 613, said point being South 18° 11' West 570.00
feet from the most Northwesterly corner of said tract; thence
North 75° 20' East along said line, 603.61 feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying Southerly of a line
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Easterly line of the land above
described which is distant thereon North 7° 15' West 475 feet
from the Southeast corner of said land, and running thence
Westerly at right angles to said Easterly line, to the Westerly
line of said land.
remain in R -A, RESIDENTIAL AGRICULTURAL ZONE, in which it is now
incorporated, and that the reclassification to C -1, NEIGHBORHOOD
COIU'1'IERCIAL ZONE and C -3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL ZONE be denied as
recommended by the City Planning Commission.
