A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to writ.: An easement for road and pt
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of COORDINATED BUILDING
MAINTENANCE CO., a corporation, and VISALIA INDUSTRIAL CO.,
a corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
real property situated in the City of Anale im, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes, and more particularly described as
follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lot 3 of Tract No. 71,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 10, page 22 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 3, for the
purpose of this description said Southwest corner is
assumed to be the center line intersection of State
College Boulevard (formerly known as Placentia Avenue)
with the center line of Orangewood Avenue; thence
Easterly along the South line of said Lot 3, also being
the center line of Orangewood Avenue a distance of
1,304.60 feet; thence North 0 `08' 00" West to the
intersection with a line parallel with and 1.4.00 feet
Northerly (as measured at right angles from the South
line of said Lot 3); thence Westerly along the last
mentioned parallel line a distance of 1,226.66 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northeasterly
and having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Westerly and
Northerly along said tangent curve through a central
angle of 89° 52+ 00" an arc distance of 39.21 feet to
the intersection with a line tangent to said curve
distant 53.00 feet Easterly as measured at right angles
from the West line of said Lot 3, said West line also
being the center line of said State College Boulevard;
thence Northerly along the last mentioned tangent line
to an intersection with the North line of the South
195.00 feet of said Lot 3; thence Westerly along the
North line of the South 195.00 feet of said Lot 3 to
the West line of said Lot 3; thence Southerly along
the West line of said Lot 3 to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 19th day of June 1962.

adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
19th day of June 1962, by the following vote of the
members thereof.
AYES COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Dutton Krein and Coons.
NOES COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT COUNCILMEN: Schutte.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 19th day of
June 1962.
