A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore sign
escrow instructions and enter into an escrow at United
California Bank., Anaheim Branch, Anaheim, California, for
the purchase of the hereinafter described real property from
Daniel Correa and Manuela B. Correa, husband and wife; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the names of
the owners of said real property as indicated m said escrow
instructions are incorrect,, and that said real property is,
in fact, owned by Manuela B. Correa, a married woman, and
Dolores B. Correa, a single woman, mother and daughter, as
joint tenants; and
WHEREAS, said United California Bank has amended
said escrow instructions by correcting the names of the Sellers
of said property, and is now ready to close said escrow, and a
deed has been prepared conveying said property to the City of
Anaheim free and clear of all encumbrances except the second
half of all general and special taxes for the fiscal year
1961 -62, and all covenants, conditions, restrictions, reserva-
tions, rights, rights of way and easements of record, as
approved by the City Attorney.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following
described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:
Lots 13 and 14 of the Mary Goodman Tract, in the
City of Anaheim, as per map recorded in Book 7,
Page 21 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California,
to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all encumbrances,
except as hereinabove set forth, be and the same is hereby,
accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be,
and it is hereby, authorized to deliver tosaid Vendors the
amount of the purchase price of said property, heretofore
deposited in escrow, when all conditions of said escrow have
been met and complied with.
