A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION OF A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH
THE ATCHISON, TOPEKA AND SANTA FE RAILWAY
COMPANY GRANTING TO THE CITY A LICENSE TO
USE CERTAIN LAND SITUATED AT OR NEAR
ANAHEIM FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ANAHEIM
ROAD ACROSS THE RIGHT OF WAY AND TRACK OF
SAID RAILWAY COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway
Company, a Kansas corporation, has tendered to the City of
Anaheim a license agreement dated June 19, 1962, licensing
and permitting the City of Anaheim to use certain land ex-
clusively for the construction of Anaheim Road across the
right of way and track of said Railway Company, subject to
the rights and easernen_ts' therein excepted and reserved, and
upon the terms and conditions therein set forth, the land
being situated at or near Anaheim and outlined in red coloring
on the print attached to said License Agreement, numbered
CECL 77- 29300, dated May 15, 1962, and marked "Exhibit AY;
and
WHEREAS, said license agreement has this day been
submitted to the City Council for consideration, and the City
Council does find and determine that it would be for the bene-
fit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to enter into
said license agreement with said Railway Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the license agreement, dated
June 19, 1962, tendered to the City of Anaheim by the Atchison,
Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company, a Kansas corporation,
licensing and permitting the City of Anaheim to use certain
land exclusively for construction of Anaheim Road across the
right of way and track of said Railway Company, subject to
the rights and easements therein excepted and reserved, and
upon the terms and conditions therein set forth, the land
being situated at or near Anaheim and outlined in red coloring
on the print attached to said License Agreement, numbered
CECL 77- 29300, dated May 15, 1962, and marked "Exhibit A,"
be, and the same is hereby, approved and accepted.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
agreement above mentioned for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 19th day of June, 1962.

-NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Schutte.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the city of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 19th day of
June, 1962.
