A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD
AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ELINOR C. HANSON, an
unmarried woman, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes, and more particularly
described as follows:

over, under and across those parcels of land
described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: The Westerly three (3) feet of Lot
Eight "of Tract No. 1635, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 49, pages 1 and 2 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California.
PARCEL TWO: Commencing at the Southeast corner of
Lot Eight (8) of said Tract No. 1635, as shown on a
Map recorded in Book 49, pages 1 and 2 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
thence Westerly along the South line of said Lot 8
a distance of 71.93 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a
radius of 25.00 feet, the true point of beginning
of the land herein described; thence Westerly and North-
erly along said curve through a central angle of
90° 151 5 an arc distance of 39.39 feet, to the
intersection with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet
Easterly of the center line of Placentia Avenue as shown
on the map of said Tract No. 1635; thence Southerly
along the last mentioned parallel line a distance of
25.12 feet to the intersection with a line parallel
with and 30 feet Northerly of the center line of
Underhill Avenue, as shown on the Map of said Tract
No. 1635; thence Easterly along the last mentioned
parallel line to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 6th day of June 19 62
