A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
AND ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Estate of EVA DOYLE, deceased, is the
owner of the hereinafter described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California;
an d
WHEREAS, during the lifetime of said EVA DOYLE the
City of Anaheim determined its need for said real property
and had received an offer from said EVA DOYLE to sell the
same to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that public convenience and necessity require the purchase
and acquisition of said real property for municipal pur-
poses and that, prior to the institution of proceedings
in eminent domain for the acquisition of said real property,
the City is prepared to offer to the Estate of EVA DOYLE,
deceased, a reasonable price for said property not out of
line with the fair market value thereof;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim offer and it
does hereby offer to purchase from the Estate of EVA DOYLE,
deceased, all that real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as
follows, to wit:
Lot 23 in Block B of the Center Tract, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 14, page 13
of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles
County, California.
for the sum of $17,000.00 cash, lawful money of the United
States, subject only to confirmation of sale.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of the
City of Anaheim be,,and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to execute a bid for the purchase of real property for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim,and he is authorized and di-
rected to forward the same to CARLO FERRERI as Administrator
of the Estate of EVA DOYLE, deceased.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor be,
and he is hereby, authorized to deposit with the Superior
Court of the State of California in and for the County of
Orange the sum of $17,000.00 cash, lawful money of the United
States, when the Administrator of the Estate of EVA DOYLE,
deceased, is in a position to convey title to the City of
Anaheim by administratorts deed and can furnish to the
City of Anaheim a policy of title insurance showing title
vested in the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
by me this 29th day of May. 1962.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City
of Anaheim approved. and signed said resolution on the 29th
