1962-0505RESOLUTION NO. 62R -505 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a petition for zoning variance from J MES L PRITC and EL RTC Rp owners o cer a rea property s ua ed In the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows The North 205 feet of the East 221.32 feet of the West W12.65 feet of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on April 16 1962 notice of which said public hearing was duly given as requirec'I law and the provisions.of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 293 Series 1961 -62 denying Variance No. 1J_69 and WHEREAS, therafter, within twenty ®two .(22 L days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City Planning Commission denying said variance, and said appeal was set for public hearing.on May 22 19 62 at 7.00 oeclock P.M. at.the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such,public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the. City Council does find and determine that: 1. There is no substantial property r°ight.possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the subject property. 2. It appears that the subject property can be adequately developed and used under the present zone. NOW, THERErORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission denying Variance No. 1L169 be, and the same is hereby, sustained, and that the request of James L. Pritchard and Zella E. Pritchard for permission to construct and operate a radio and television store, with repair service, on the property hereinabove described, be, and the same is hereby, denied.
