A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of THE LUTHERAN HOME
ASSOCIATION OF CALIFORNIA, a Corporation, to sell to the City
of Anaheim the following described real property situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes,
and more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for road and public utility
purposes over, under and across the Southernly 53.00
feet (as measured at right angles to the center line
of Ball Road) of that parcel of land, being a portion
of Lot 17, all of Lot 18, and a portion of Lot 19 of
Anaheim Investment Company's Tract, as shown on a
Map thereof recorded in Book 7, pages 33 and 34 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the center of Ball Road,
distant thereon North 89 37 29" East 260.00 feet
from the intersection of said center line with the
Southerly prolongation of the Easterly line of Lot 22
of Tract No. 1121, as shown on a Map thereof recorded
in Book 62, pages 13 to 16, inclusive, of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California; thence
North 0 18' 02" West 671.28 feet to a point in the
North line of said Lot 19, which is distant thereon
North 89 351 11" East 257.50 feet from the intersection
of said North line with the East line of Lot 32 of said
Tract No. 1121; thence South 89 351 11" East along the
North line of said Lots 19, 18 and 17, a distance of
75.53 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 17, said
Northeast corner being in the center line of Walnut
Street, as shown on said map; thence South 0 19 18"
East along the East line of said Lot 17 to the Southeast
corner of said Lot 17, said Southeast corner being the
intersection of the center lines of Walnut Street with
the center line of Bali Road, as shown on said Map;
thence South 89 37 29" West along said center line
of Ball Road 745.77 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 225 feet thereof.

purposes over, under and across the Southerly 36+
feet (as measured at right angles to the center line
of Ball Road) of the Easterly 225 feet of all that
land above described as Parcel One.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
