1962-0463WHEREAS, the Northern Orange County council, Council
No, 37, Region XII, Boy Scouts of America, a non profit corporation,
hereinafter referred to as tt Boy Scouts, has requested of The
City of Anaheim an agreement granting to Boy Scouts'the use of
La Palma Stadium from May 31, 1962, to June 4., 1962; and
WHEREAS, said agreement has this day been submitted
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim for its consideration,
and the City Council does find and determine that it would be
for the benefit -and best interest of the City of Anaheim to enter
into said agreement with the said Boy Scouts, and that the same
should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day submitted
to the City Council to be executed by the Boy Scouts and the
City of Anaheim, for the use of La Palma Stadium by Boy Scouts,
subject to the covenants and agreements therein contained, be,
and the same is hereby, approved and accepted.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said
agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 13th day of May, 1962.
