1962-0421RESOLUTION NU. 62R -421 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 213. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from RAYMOND J. and ELAINE M. YOUNG, 236 North Normandie, Anaheim, California, to operate a nursery school for approximately fifty children, on the following described property: The Southerly 62 feet of the Northerly 124 feet of the Westerly 170 feet of the South half of the North half of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said request on March 19, 1962, notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of 'Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in- vestigation, and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 269, Series 1961 -62, denying Conditional Use Permit No. 213; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim protesting the action of the City Planning Commission denying said Condi- tional Use Permit, and said appeal was set for public hearing on May 1, 1962, at 7:00 o'clock P.M. at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chap- ter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hear- ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heara and did receive evidence and reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Com- mission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 213 should be denied; NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission denying Conditional Use Permit No. 213 be, and the same is hereby sustained, and that the request of RAYMOND J. and ELAINE M. YOUNG, 236 North Normandie, Anaheim, California, for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a nursery school for approximately fifty children on the property hereinabove de- scribed be, and the same is hereby, denied.
