A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF .ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
AND DELIVERY OF A QUITCLAIM DEED RELEASING
AND QUITCLAIMING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TO THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA.

WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore by
Directorts Deed, executed by the State of California, Depart-
ment of Public Works, dated December 22, 1960, recorded April 11,
1961, in Book 5684, Page 490, Document No. 6195, in the Office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, acquire title to the
real property first hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the property
which the State of California, Department of Public Works,
proposed to convey to the City of Anaheim was incorrectly des-
cribed in said deed; and
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of
Public Works, has offered to furnish a new deed with a correct
description of the property intended to be conveyed to the
City, upon receipt of a quitclaim deed from the City quit-
claiming all right, title and interest in and to the property
described in said Directorts Deed dated December 22, 1960;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of
the City of Anaheim, to make, execute and deliver to the
State of California, a good and sufficient Quitclaim Deed,
releasing and quitclaiming all right, title and interest in
and to the following described real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to wit:
That portion of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest
1/4 of Section 23, T. 4 S., R. 10 W., S.B.B.& M.,
described in the Certificate of Title No. 8276 on
file in the office of the Registrar of Titles of
said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in that certain course given,
in the description of Parcel 2 in a deed to the
State of California recorded August 26, 1940, in
Book 1058, page 188 of Official Records in the
office of the County Recorder of said County,
as "along said Easterly line, N. 0 15t 35" W.,
400.80 feet," distant along said certain course
North 0° 15t 35" West, 142.95 feet from the South-
erly terminus thereof; thence continuing along said
certain course, North 0° i5t 35" West, 117.16 feet
to a curve, concave Northeasterly and having a
radius of 780.00 feet; thence from a tangent
bearing South 50 00t 40" East, Southeasterly
along said curve, through an angle of 3° 26' 12
an arc distance of 46.79 feet; thence South 09
07' 08" East, 29.00 feet; thence South 34° 214.t
39" West, 72.18 feet to the point of beginning.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Quitclaim Deed so
delivered to the State of California shall be recorded concur-
rently with the new deed conveying the following described real
property to the City of Anaheim:
That portion of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest
1 /4 of Section 23, T. 4 S., R. 10 W., S.B.B. &M.,
described in the Certificate of Title No. 8276 on
file in the office of the Registrar of Titles of
said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in that certain course given,
in the description of Parcel 2 in a deed to the State
of California recorded August 26, 1910, in Book 1058,
page 188 of Official Records in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, as "along said Easterly
line, N. 0° 151 35" W., 400.80 feet," distant along
said certain course North 0 15t 35" West, 146.21 feet from
the Southerly terminus thereof, said point being in the
Easterly line of Haster Street, 60.00 feet wide, and
on a line perpendicular to the center line of said
Haster Street at a point distant along said center
line, North 0° 15' 35" West, 684.45 feet from the
intersection of said center line with the center line
of Katelia Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, said center lines
of Haster Street and Katelia Avenue being the Westerly
and Southerly lines respectively of said Section 23;
thence continuing along said certain course, North
0° 15t 35" West, 120.65 feet to a curve, concave North-
easterly and having a radius of 780.00 feet; thence from
a tangent, bearing South 48° 19t 25" East, Southeasterly
along said curve, through an angle of 30 35t 29 an
arc distance of 48.89 feet; thence South 9 07' 08" East,
29.00 feet; thence South 34° 24' 39" West, 73.51 feet
to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING and RESERVING unto the State of California
any and all rights of ingress to or egress from the
real property herein conveyed to or from the freeway
constructed upon lands lying Northerly of said real
property; provided, however, that said real property
shall abut upon and have access to a frontage road which
will be connected with said freeway only at such points
as may be established by public authority.
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom all minerals, oils, gases and
other hydrocarbons by whatsoever name known, that may
be within or under the parcel of land hereinabove des-
cribed without, however, the right to drill, dig or
mine through the surface thereof.
