A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A PERMIT SUB-
MITTED BY THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL
DISTRICT TO THE CITY '1'O CONSTRUCT AND
MAINTAIN STURM DRAIN CONNECTIONS TU SAID
DISTRICT'S EXISTING 24 -INCH STURM DRAINS
IN
THE CARBON CREEK CHANNEL UN THE SOUTH-
EASTERLY AND NORTHWESTERLY SIDES OF
STINSON STREET.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore made appli-
cation to the Orange County Flood Control Distrctlfor a permit
to construct and maintain storm drain connections to said
District's existing 24 -inch storm drains in the Carbon Creek
Channel on the southeasterly and northwesterly sides of Stinson
Street; and
WHEREAS, plans for said storm drain connections,
designated "Stinson Street Improvement glans #5143 and 4967"
have been filed with and approved by said District's Flood Con-
trol Engineer; and..
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District did on
March 26, 1962, submit t o the City of Anaheim a form of permit
to be accepted by the City offering to grant to the City permis-
sion to construct and maintain storm drain connections to said
District's existing 24 -inch storm drains in the Carbon Creek
Channel on the southeasterly and northwesterly sides of Stinson
Street, all in accordance with the "Stinson Street Improvement
Plans x`5143 and 4967," subject to the terms, covenants, condi-
tions, and agreements therein set forth to be kept, performed
and observed by the City, which permit the City Council finds
would be for the benefit and best interest of the City and
should be accepted.
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE I'1' RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the permit of the orange County Flood
Control District, No. 01762, submitted March 26, 1962, to the
City of Anaheim granting to the City permission to construct and
maintain storm drain connections to said District's existing 24-
inch storm drains in the Carbon Creek Channel on the southeaster-
ly and northwesterly sides of Stinson Street, all in accordance
with the "Stinson Street Improvement Plans #5143 and 4967," sub-
ject to the terms, covenants, conditions, and agreements set
forth in said permit to be performed and observed by the City of
Anaheim, be, and the same is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept said permit
submitted March 26, 1962, for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
