1962-0393RESOLUTION NO. 62R -393 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 202. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from CHIP CHASIN, 1801 Newport Boulevard, Costa Mesa, Cali- fornia, to construct a service station on the following de- scribed property: The North 253.00 feet of the north one -half of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section 24, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, city of Anaheim, county of Orange, state of California, as said section is shown on a map recorded in book 51 page 11 of Miscel- laneous Maps, in the office of the county recorder of said county. EXCEPT the West 14 acres of said North one half. AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said request on February 19, 1962, notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, in- vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 2L2, Series 1961 -62, denying Conditional Use rermit No. 202; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim pro- testing the action of the City Planning Commission denying said Conditional Use rermit, and said appeal was set for pub- lic hearing on March 27, 1962, at 7:00 otclock Y.M. at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of 'Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hear- ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did con- tinue said hearing to this date; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful consideration of the recommendations of the City rlanning Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hear- ing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 202 should be denied; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission denying Conditional Use Permit No. 202 be, and the same is hereby sustained, and that the request of CHI± CHASIN, 1801 Newport Boulevard, Costa Mesa, California, for a Conditional Use Permit to construct a service station on the property hereinabove described be, and the same is hereby, denied.
