A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING A "NO PARKING"
ZONE ON LINCOLN AVENUE ADJACENT TO THE
ANA -MEAD BUILDING AT 1820 WEST LINCOLN AVENUE.

WHEREAS, a request has been made by Dr. Sidney J. Adler
for the establishment of a No Parking" Zone adjacent to the Ana
Med Building at 1820 West Lincoln Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways of the State of
California has, by letter dated March 23, 1962, advised the City
Engineer that the results of its investigation indicate that it
would be desirable to prohibit parking on the south side of
Lincoln Avenue from the extension of the west curb line of
Crescent Way to the easterly property line of the Ana -Med Build-
ing, a distance of 245 feet; and
WHEREAS, Section 22506 of the Vehicle Code of the State
of California authorizes the City Council to restrict or prohibit
parking on a state highway if the resolution is first submitted
to and approved, in writing, by the Department of Public Works;
and
WHEREAS, the Division of Highways has requested that
the prohibition of parking shall be inoperative six months after
withdrawal of the approval of the Department of Public Works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that parking be prohibited on the south side
of Lincoln Avenue from the extension of the west curb line of
Crescent Way to the easterly property line of the Ana -Med Build-
ing, a distance of 245 feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution shall go
into effect immediately upon approval, in writing, by the
Department of Public Works of the State of California, and that
said prohibition of parking and this resolution shall cease to
be effective six months after receipt by the City Council of
written notice of withdrawal of approval of the Department of
Public Works of the State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
