1962-0358WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore made
application to the Orange County Flood Control District for
a permit to construct and maintain a storm drain inlet and flap
gate within said District's right of way of the Carbon Creek
Diversion Channel at the extension of Coronado Street; and
WHEREAS, plans for the installation of said storm
drain inlet and flapgate designated "Coronado Street Improvement
Plans #5101' have been filed with and approved by said District's
Flood Control Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District has
submitted to the City Council a form of permit to be accepted
by the City of Anaheim offering to grant to the City permission
to construct and maintain said storm drain inlet and flapgate
within said District's right of way of the Carbon Creek
Diversion Channel at the extension of Coronado Street in
accordance with the City of Anaheim's "Coronado Street Improve-
ment Plans #5101," and subject to the terms, covenants, conditions
and agreements therein set forth to be kept, performed and observed
by the City, which permit the City Council finds would be for the
benefit and best interest of the City and should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the permit of the Orange County Flood
Control District, No. 02762 submitted to the City of Anaheim,
granting to the City permission to construct and maintain a storm
drain inlet and flapgate within said District's right of way of
the Carbon Creek Diversion Channel at the extension of Coronado
Street in accordance with the City of Anaheim's "Coronado Street
Improvement Plans #5101," and subject to the terms, covenants,
conditions, and agreements set forth in said permit to be
performed and bserved by the City of Anaheim be, and the same
is hereby, accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept said permit
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 10th day of April, 1962.
