A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
utility purposes ancT
WHEREAS, the owners of said property hays offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MINNA A. SMITH and
EDITH A. JOHNSON

State of California, to be used for an easement for road and

An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of the South
west quarter of Section 21., Township 1. South,
Range 10 West, S.B.B.Bc.M., described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of the Southwest
quarter of said Section 21j, said Southwest corner
for the purpose of this description being the inter-
section of the center line of Placentia Avenue with
the center line of Katella Avenue; thence Easterly
100 feet along the center line of said Katella
Avenue; thence Northerly 40 feet along a line parallel
with the West line of said Southwest quarter to the
intersection, with a line parallel with, and 10.00
feet Northerly of the South line of said Southwest
quarter; thence Northwesterly in a direct line to
the intersection with a line parallel with and 30
feet East of the West line, and 140 feet North of
the South line of said Southwest quarter of said
Section 24.; thence Westerly along a line parallel
with the South line of the Southwest quarter of said
Section 24, to the West line of the Southwest quarter
of said. Section 2; thence Southerly along the West
line of the Southwest quarter of said Section 24, to
the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One D o l l a r ($1,00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
