A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the
City of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real
property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM SCHOOL
DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be used for
an easement for road and public utility purposes, and
more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of Lot 47 of
Anaheim Extension as shown on a Map of Survey made
by William Hamel and filed in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
a copy of which is recorded in Book 3, pages 162 and
following, entitled "Los Angeles County Maps" in
the office of the County Recorder of Orange County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Southerly
line of Santa Ana Street, as said street is
described in the deed to the City of Anaheim
recorded February 7, 1908 in Book 157,
page 269 of Deeds, records of said Orange County,
with the Easterly line of Pythias Avenue, as
described in the deeds to said City of Anaheim,
recorded October 13, 1914 in Book 255, page 28,
Book 261, page 12 and Book 259, page 331, all
of Deeds, records of said Orange County; thence
along said Easterly line of Pythias Avenue,
South 0 00 54" East, 14.50 feet to a point;
thence Easterly along a line parallel with and
distant Southerly 14.50 feet, measured at right
angles, from said Southerly line of Santa Ana
Street, to a point distant 39.12 feet Westerly
measured along said parallel line, from the
center line of Walnut Street, 60 feet wide,

Book 27, page 23, Record of Surveys in the
office of the Recorder of said Orange
County, said point being the beginning of
a tangent curve, concave Southwesterly and
having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence
Southeasterly along said curve, through a
central angle of 81 53 55" an arc distance
of 21.44 feet to a point on the Westerly line
of said Walnut Street; thence Northerly along
said Westerly line of Walnut Street to its
intersection with the Southerly line of said
Santa Ana Street; thence along said Southerly
line of Santa Ana Street, North 81 54 42" West,
610.00 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept
a conveyance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to
the owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the
City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 21st day of August 19 62

the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held on the 21st day of

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Krein.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 21st day of
August, 1962.
