A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE
PERMIT NO. 276.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit
from RUSS and NATALIE BOOREY, FRANK C. and NORA BECKETT and
DOROTHY A. ROHAN, 2147 South Lewis Street, Anaheim, California,
to construct a planned unit development on the following described
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to wit:
PARCEL NO. 1:
The East half of Lot 12 of the Orangewood Tract
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 7, page 42
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
PARCEL NO. 2:
The East half of Lot 13 of the Orangewood Tract,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 7, page 32 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County,
California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southerly 78.00 feet of the
Easterly 200.00 feet.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Northerly 80.00 feet
of the Southerly 430.00 feet of the Easterly
200.00 feet.
PARCEL NO. 3:
The North 80 feet of the South 430 feet of the
East 200 feet (starting in the middle of Lewis
Street) of the East half of Lot 13 of Orangewood
Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 7,
page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California.
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said
request on July 23, 1962, notices of which said public hearing
were duly given as required by law and the provisions of
Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection,
investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at
said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. 426, Series 1962 -63
denying Conditional Use Permit No. 276; and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty -two (22) days from
the date of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council
did elect, upon its own motion, to review the action of the
City Planning Commission in denying said Conditional Use Permit

and did thereupon fix the 21st day of August, 1962, as the time
and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim
as the place for a public hearing upon said Conditional Use
Permit, and notices of such public hearing were duly given as
required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to
be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful
consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
that Conditional Use Permit No. 276 should be denied.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning
Commission denying Conditional Use Permit No. 276 be, and the
same is hereby sustained and that the request of RUSS and NATALIE
BOOREY, FRANK C. and NORA BECKETT and DOROTHY A. ROHAN, 2147 South
Lewis Street, Anaheim, California, for a Conditional Use Permit
to construct a planned unit development on the property hereinabove
described, be, and the same is hereby, denied.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 21st day of August, 1962.
