A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit; An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of George A. Gade, a married
man, dealing with his sole and separate property, to sell to the
City of Anaheim the following described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes,
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Southerly 53.00 feet
(as measured at right angles from the center
line of Orangethorpe Avenue) of the following
described parcels of land:
PARCEL ONE: The East half of the West half of
the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 31, Township 3 South, Range 10 West,
S.B.B.&M.
PARCEL TWO: That portion of the Southeast
quarter of Section 34, Township 3 South, Range
10 West, S.B.B.&M., described as fo pwst Com-
mencing 10 Chains East of the Southwest corner
of the Southeast quarter of said section; thence
East 9 chains, more or less, to the West line of
the California Central Railway Company's right of
way as described in the deed recorded in Book 327,
page 224 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County,
California; thence North along the West line of
said right of way 20 chains to the North line of
the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of
said section; thence West 9 chains, more or less,
to a point 10 chains East of the Northwest corner
of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 311; thence South 20 chains; more or less,
to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the South 150 feet of the
West 150 feet.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion being
Westerly of and adjacent to the right of way
of the California Central Railway Company and
lying Easterly of a line parallel with and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of August 19 62

I, DENE M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution No. 62R -728 was
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting provided by law, of
the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held on the 7th day of
August, 1962, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Schutte, Chandler, Krein and Coons.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Dutton.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the -City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 7th day of
August, 1962.
