A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes,to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of
HOUSTON LAND CO., A Limited Co- Partnership and
WILLIAM H. CIES, a married man, as his sole and
separate property,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and
more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across
those parcels of land being a portion of South Placentia Tract No. 2,
as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Parcel 1:
The Westerly 53 feet, as measured at right angles to the center line of
State College Boulevard, of the Northerly 216.82 feet of Lot 6 of South
Placentia Tract No. 2, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 42 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, California
Parcel 2:
The Easterly 3 feet, of the Westerly 53 feet, as measured at right angles
to the center line of State College Boulevard, of the Southerly 75.18 fee
of the Northerly 292 feet of Lot 6 of South Placentia Tract No. 2, as
shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, page 4 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of said Orange County, California
Parcel 3:
Beginning at the center line intersection of State College Boulevard with
the center line of Cies Street; thence Northerly along the center line of
State College Boulevard a distance of 54.73 feet; thence Easterly to an
intersection with a line parallel with and 53.00 feet Easterly from the
center line of State College Boulevard (as measured at right angles) said
point of intersection also being the beginning of a non tangent curve
concave Northeasterly and having a radius of 25.00 feet; thence Southerly
and Easterly along said curve through a central angle of 89° 48' 16" an
arc distance of 39.18 feet to an intersection with a line parallel with
and 30.00 feet Northerly from the center line of Cies Street (as measured
at right angles) thence Southerly to the center line of said Cies Street;
thence Westerly to the center line of State College Boulevard. Exceptinc
therefrom the Westerly 53.00 feet. Also excepting the Southerly 30.00
feet.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
