A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR DRAINAGE AND SEWER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for drainage and
sewer purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of JACK G. SCHAPIRO and
DORA W. SCHAPIRO, husband and wife; ALEX E. ENGELMAN and SYD A.
ENGELMAN, husband and wife; JOSEPH M. BERMAN and ELEANOR BERMAN,
husband and wife, MARK SCHAPIRO and ZELDA SCHAPIRO, husband and
wife; and ROE TYRE, an unmarried woman, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
used for an easement for drainage and sewer purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
An easement for drainage and sewer purposes over, under
and across the south 15.00 feet of the west 250.00 feet
of that portion of the southwest quarter of the northwest
quarter of Section 21, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
partly in the Rancho Las Bolsas and partly in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the City of Anaheim, county
of Orange, state of California, as said section is shown on
a map recorded in book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of the south 20 acres
of the south half of said southwest quarter; thence
North 231.15 feet along the west line of said southwest
quarter to a point North 222.86 feet from the southwest
corner of the north half of said southwest quarter;
thence East 656.92 feet to a point which is 895.21 feet
north of the south line of said southwest quarter; thence
North 99.55 feet parallel with said west line; thence
East 656.92 feet to a point on the east line of said
southwest quarter, which is 994.76 feet north of said
south line; thence South 333.54 feet to the northeast
corner of said south 20 acres; thence West 1313.73 feet
to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be and he is hereby authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property out of General ,Funds of the City of Anaheim
the sum of One Dollar ($1*00)0
