1962-1024WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore made application to the Orange County Flood Control District for a permit to construct and maintain a storm drain connection to said District's existing 24 -inch storm drain in the Carbon Creek Channel at Magnolia Avenue; and WHEREAS, plans for the installation of said storm drain connection designated "Magnolia Avenue Street Improve- ment Plan #5496" have been filed with and approved by said District's Engineer; and WHEREAS, Orange County Flood Control District has submitted to the City Council a form of permit to be accepted by the City of Anaheim offering to grant to the City permission to construct and maintain said storm drain connection to said District's existing 24 -inch storm drain in the Carbon Creek Channel at Magnolia Avenue in accordance with the City of Anaheim's Magnolia Avenue Street Improvement Plan #5496, and subject to the terms, covenants, conditions and agreements therein set forth to be kept, performed and observed by the City, which permit the City Council finds would be for the benefit and best interest of the City and should be accepted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the permit of the Orange County Flood Control District No. 21662, submitted to the City of Anaheim, granting to the City permission to construct and maintain a storm drain connection to said District's existing 24 -inch storm drain in the Carbon Creek Channel at Magnolia Avenue in accordance with the City of Anaheim's "Magnolia Avenue Street Improvement Plan #5496," and subject to the terms,covenants, conditions and agreements set forth in said permit to be performed and observed by the City of Anaheim be, and the same is hereby, accepted. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to accept said permit for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 27th day of November, 1962.
