1962-1020RESOLUTION NO. 62R 1020 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED REMISING, RELEASING AND QUIT- CLAIMING CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, AND ACCEPTING A CORPORATION EASE- MENT AND GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR A RESERVOIR SITE AND FOR EASEMENTS FOR ROAD, WATER TRANS- MISSION LINES AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES. Atty R/W Finance WHEREAS, a deed was heretofore executed by the Santiago Land Co. for the easements and the reservoir site commonly known as the Olive Hills Reservoir; and WHEREAS, in connection with the reservoir site and ease- ments leading thereto, certain changes and modifications of the boundaries have been deemed necessary for the City of Anaheim and the Grantor; and WHEREAS, the Santiago Land Co. has made a conveyance of some parts of the property to the Lusk Corporation; and WHEREAS, the Lusk Corporation and Santiago Land Co. and the City of Anaheim have agreed upon new boundaries of the reser- voir site and the easements in connection therewith, as set forth and delineated in the Corporation Easement and Grant Deed this day submitted for acceptance by the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that in order to clarify the description, the City Council does hereby authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute a Corporation Quitclaim Deed to Santiago Land Co., a California Corporation, and Lusk Corporation, a California Corporation, quit- claiming Parcels One, Two and Three conveyed to the City of Anaheim as described in that certain deed recorded November 30, 1960, in Book 5528, Page 583 of Official Records of Orange County, California, for the purpose of clarifying the revised description of said parcels being described as Parcels 1A, 1, 5 and 8 in the Corporation Ease- ment and Grant Deed this day submitted to the City of Anaheim to be recorded concurrently with said Quitclaim Deed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Corporation Easement and Grant Deed this day submitted to the City Council by Santiago Land Co., a California Corporation, and Lusk Corporation, a California Corporation, granting to the City of Anaheim the following described real property partly in the City of Anaheim and partly in the City of Orange, all in the County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described as follows: Those parcels of land being a portion of the land allotted to Heirs of Leandro Serrano in Decree of Partition of the Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, recorded in Book "B" of Judg- ments of the 17th Judicial District Court of California, partly in the City of Anaheim, and partly in the City of Orange, all in the County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: PARCEL NO. 1 A: An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and across that portion of the land allotted to the Heirs of Leandro Serrano, described as follows: STATE OF CALIFORNIA COUNTY OF ORANGE ss.
