1962-0979A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit. An easement for road and u uti ur oses

WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the CI F and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of VIOLA SPU_RL_OCK, a married woman,
as her sole and separate property,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and •ublic utilit •ur•ose

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
and more particularly described as follows;
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Westerly 23.00 feet of the Easterly 53.00 feet
of that portion of Lot 7 of the Anaheim Extension, as said
lot is shown on a Map of Survey made by William Hamel dated
December 11, 1868, signed by Robinson, Trustee, and filed in
the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles, California,
being described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of said Lot 7, distant
thereon North 0 07' 30" East 782.83 feet from a bolt in the
pavement marking the Southeasterly corner of said Lot 7;
thence South 83 40' 00" West 163.00 feet; thence
South 77 40' 00" West 21 feet; thence North 11 20' 00" West
74.15 feet; thence North 81 42' 15" East 199.35 feet to
the East line of said Lot 7; thence South 0 07' 30" West
79.00 feet to the point of beginning.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of November 196 2
