A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit. An easement for road and ublic utility purposes

WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
and convey the same to the CH T; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW THEREFORE_, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of WALTER C. BARBER and LORA M. BARBER,,
husband and wife
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows.
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the Easterly 53.00 feet of that portion of Lot 7 of Anaheim
Extension, as shown on a Map made by William Hamel, on file in the
office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line of State College
Boulevard (formerly Placentia Avenue), with the center line of the
right of way of the Anaheim Union Water Company, as said right of
way was established by a judgment rendered by the Superior Court
of the State of California in and for the County of Orange, by
Case No. 6468, a certified copy of said judgment having been recorded
March 7, 1916, in Book 281, page 126 of Deeds; thence
North 0 07' 25" East along the center line of said State College
Boulevard 91.5 feet; thence South 81 43' 25" West parallel with the
center line of said Anaheim Union Water Company right of way 156.00
feet; thence North 0 07' 25" East parallel with the center line
of State College Boulevard to the Southerly line of land conveyed
to J. F. Burgess and wife by deed recorded July 7 1948 in Book 1666,
page 467 of Official Records; thence South 74 33 10" West along
said Southerly line to an angle point therein; thence
South 0 36' 25" West 225.00 feet to the most Southerly corner
of the said land conveyed to J. F. Burgess, said Southerly corner
being also in the center line of said Anaheim Union Water Company
right of way; thence North 81 43' 25" East along said center
line 253.00 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property, out of General Fu.nds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum. of One Dollar ($1000) 0
