RESOLUTION NO. 62R -977
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sear
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the Westerly 30.00 feet (as measured at right angles to the
center line of Gilbert Street) of that parcel of land, being a por-
tion of the South half of the Northeast quarter of Section 7, Town-
ship 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on
a Map thereof recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the Westerly prolongation
of the Southerly line of Tract No. 1161, as shown on a Map recorded
in Book 36, pages 45 and 46 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, with the Westerly line of the Northeast quarter of
said Section 7; thence South 0° 46' 50" East along said West line a
distance of 534.95 feet; thence North 88° 34' 25" East 844.25 feet;
thence North 0° 46' 50" West 371.85 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 200.00 feet; thence
Northwesterly along said curve, through a central angle of 23 48' 24"
an arc distance of 83.10 feet to a line tangent; thence North 0° 46' 50''
West along said tangent line 0.30 feet to the Southerly line of said
Tract No. 1161, said point also being the intersection of said Southerly
line with the center line of Moraga Street, as shown on said Map; thence
South 88 38' 30" West along said Southerly line and Westerly prolonga-
tion thereof 810.20 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion conveyed to the City of Anaheim by
deed recorded May 22, 1962 in Book 6118, page 4 of Official Records of
Orange County, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property,, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim.,
the stun of One Dollar ($1, 00) 0
