A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit A n easement for road and b •ur'ose

WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of JAMES W. HENDERSON, ng deali with
his sole and se arate •ro•ert
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orscrge, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public uility_purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Southerly 53.00 feet (as measured at right angles
from the center line of Orangethorpe Avenue) of the South 150
feet of the West 150 feet of that portion of the Southeast
quarter of Section 34, Township 3 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. M.,
described as follows:
Commencing at a point 10 chains East of the Southwest corner
of the Southeast quarter of said Section 34, running thence
East 9 chains, more or less, to the West line of the
California Central Railway Company's right of way as des-
cribed in the deed recorded November 9, 1887 in Book 327,
page 224 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California;
thence North along the West line of said right of way,
20 chains to the North line of the Southwest quarter of the
Southeast quarter of said section; thence West 9 chains,
more or less, to a point 10 chains East of the Northwest
corner of the Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter
of said section; thence South 20 chains, more or less, to
the point of beginning.

of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property, out of General.Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)„
