A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: Easements for public utility
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of NORTH AMERICAN AVIATION, INC.,
a corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following des-
cribed real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to be used for easements for public
utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
Easements over the real property in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as:
PARCEL ONE: An easement for public utility purposes over,
under and across that parcel of land described as follows:
The Westerly 10 feet of the Easterly 660.20 feet of the
Southerly 363.52 feet of Lot Fifteen (15) in Block K of the
Kraemer Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 12, pages
87 and 88 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County,
California.
The Easterly five (5) feet of the Westerly ten (10) feet
above described will be used for electric power lines and
overhang purposes only.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM any portion thereof lying within La Palma
Avenue on the South.
(For the purpose of this description, the Southerly line of
the above mentioned Lot 15 is assumed to be the center line
of La Palma Avenue)
PARCEL TWO: An easement for public utility purposes over,
under and across that parcel of land lying five feet on each
side of the following described line:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the North half of the
South half of said Lot 15; thence South 73 05' 02" West a
distance of 499.41 feet to an intersection with the Easterly
right of way line of the land conveyed to the Orange County
Flood Control District, said point of intersection being the
point of terminus of the line described.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 464.41 feet.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00),
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 30th day of October 1962
