of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sea
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of LESTER E. MOFFIT and ETHEL W. MOFFIT,

An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the South 53.00 feet (measured at right angles from the
center line of Ball Road) of that portion of the Southwest quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as said section is indicated on a
Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the South line of said Section, distant
East 494 feet from the Southwest corner thereof, said point being
the Southeast corner of the land conveyed to Nicholas J. Dovalis,
et al, by deed recorded May 6, 1957 in Book 3897, page 520 of
Official Records; thence North along the East line of said land of
Dovalis to the Northeast corner thereof, being a point on the South
line of Lot 8 of Tract No. 1446, as shown on a Map thereof recorded
in Book 72, pages 5 and 6 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said
Orange County; thence East along the South line of Lots 8 and 9 of
said Tract No. 1446, 111.06 feet, more or less, to the Southeast
corner of said Lot 9, being also a point on the West line of Tract
No. 2529, as shown on a Map thereof recorded in Book 71, pages 17
et seq, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County; thence
South along the West line of said last mentioned tract to the South
line of said Section 18; thence West along said South line to the
point of beginning.

of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City,
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
