A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and pub-
lic utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM UNION WATER COMPANY,
a corporation organized under the laws of the State of California,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real pro-
perty situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for an easement for road and public utility
purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across that portion of Block F of the Kraemer Tract as
shown on a map recorded in Book 12 pages 87 and 88 of Mis-
cellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California described
as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of that parcel of land con-
veyed to the Anaheim Union Water Company, by deed recorded
March 29, 1946 in Book 1399 page 527 Records of Orange County,
California, said Northeast corner being the intersection of
the centerline of Placentia Yorba Road (formerly known as
Crowther Avenue) as established by the County of Orange with
the centerline of Orangethorpe Avenue, as established by the
California State Highway Department, as called out in the
Deed to said Anaheim Union Water Company; thence North 87
15' 40" West 472.90 feet along a portion of the Northerly
line of the land conveyed to said Anaheim Union Water Company,
thence South 2 44' 20" West 25.00 feet to an intersection
with a line parallel with and 25.00 feet Southerly (as
measured at right angles from the Northerly line of the land
conveyed to said Anaheim Union Water Company), said point of
intersection being the true point of beginning of the parcel
of land hereinafter described,thence South 87 15' 40" East
278.83 feet, thence South 73 34' 20" West 278.08 feet, thence
North 16 25' 40" West 13.00 feet to the beginning of a non
tangent curve concave Northwesterly and having a radius of
25.00 feet, a radial line through said point of beginning of
curve bears North 16° 25' 40" West, thence Northeasterly and
Northwesterly along said curve through a central angle of
90 21' 23" an arc distance of 39.42 feet to a line tangent
to said curve bearing North 16° 47' 03" West, thence North
16° 47' 03" West 11.04 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Southwesterly and having a radius of 25.00

feet, thence Northerly and Northwesterly along said tangent
curve through a central angle of 70 28' 37" an arc distance
of 30.75 feet to the end of said curve, thence North 2° 44'
20" East 20.00 feet to the true point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
