A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit. An easement for road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to se1i
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of JOHN C. KNUTZEN JR. aka JOHN
KNUT ZEN, JR., as his separate prop y,

situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and public utility purposes

An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the Northerly 45.00 feet (as measured at right angles)
from the North line of that portion of Lot Two (2) of Tract No.
71, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 10, page 22 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of said Lot Two (2), running
thence South 15 53' 45" West 1159.95 feet along the Easterly line
of said Lot Two (2) to the Southeasterly corner thereof; thence
North 89 23' West along the South line of said lot, 747 feet;
thence North 1117.97 feet to a point in the North line of said lot,
which is West 1025.53 feet from the Northeasterly corner of said
lot; thence East 1025.53 feet to the point of beginning.
RESERVING unto the grantor the right to use and maintain the
existing irrigation line lying within the Southerly 10 feet of
the Northerly 45 feet of that portion of Lot 2 of said Tract No.
71, said right to become null and void upon mutual agreement
between the City of Anaheim and the Grantors, that said irrigation
lines are no longer required or necessary for irrigation purposes.
(For the purpose of this description the Southerly 10 feet of the
Northerly 10 feet of said Lot 2, lies Easterly of the Southerly
prolongation of the Westerly line of Lot 3 of said Tract No. 71).
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
