1962-0906WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and pub-
lic utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CON-
TROL DISTRICT, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes, and more particularly described
as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the southerly 53.00 feet of that portion of Lot
15 in Block "K" of the Kraemer Tract, in the County of Orange,
State of California, as per map recorded in Book 12 pages 87
and 88 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Los Angeles County,
California, described as Parcel No. E2 -207.1 in the deed to
the Orange County Flood Control District recorded February
7, 1961 in Book 5621 pages 86 to 89 inclusive of Official
Records of the Orange County Recorder, County of Orange,
State of California. The Southerly line of said 53.00
foot strip being the centerline of La Palma Avenue.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owner of
said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of October, 1962.
