A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to se1
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of JANNA B. BLAKE a married woman
dealing with her sole and se•arate
to sell to t e ity o £na eim the of owing •escri•ed real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
to be used for an easement for road and p ublic u til it y p urpos es
an more part cu arty describe as ollows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the following described parcel of
land:
The Northerly 53.00 feet (as measured at right angles
fromthe center line of Ball Road) of the West 132.00
feet of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter
of the Northeast quarter of Section 24, Township 4
South, Range 11 West, S.B.B.&M.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 9th day of October 1962
