A RESOLUTION Or THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITIY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for municipal
purposes, to wit: An easement for public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to se
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to ac-
cept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the

An easement for public utility purposes over, under and across
the Southerly five feet of that portion of Lot 28 of Anaheim
Extension as shown on a map of Survey made by William Hamel and
filed in Book 3, page 163 et seq entitled Los Angeles County maps
records of Orange County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of a line parallel with and Southerly
562.00 feet measured at right angles, fromthe Northerly line of said
Lot 28 with the Westerly line of Harbor Boulevard, as described in
the deed to the County of Orange recorded March 19, 1930 in Book
362, Pages 406 of official records; thence South 74 17' 30" West
167.47 feet, along said parallel line; thence North 16 10' 30" East
120.18 feet to an intersection with a line parallel with and )g);2.00
feet Southerly of the North line of said Lot 28; thence
South �4 17 30" West 587.10 feet to the Easterly line of the
Westerly 10.00 Acres of said Lot 28; thence South 15° 461 50" East
310.02 feet along the Easterly linea'.the Westerly 10.00Acres
of said Lot 28 to an intersection with the Southerly line of the
land conveyed to Henry J. Kestenholz by deed recorded March 24, 1944
in Book 1243, Page 199 of Official Records of Orange County,
California; thence North 74 18 15" East. 706.64 feet, along the
Southerly line of the land conveyed to said Henry J. Kestenholz to
an intersection with the Westerly line of said Harbor Boulevard;
thence Northerly along the Westerly line of said Harbor Boulevard
195.71 feet to the point of beginning.
The Northerly Two feet of the above described five foot public
Utility easement will be used for overhang purposes only.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners
of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
