A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING DEPOSIT OF FUNDS OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM IN THE BANK OF AMERICA NATIONAL
TRUST AND SAVINGS ASSOCIATION, ANAHEIM BRANCH;
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK
TO EXECUTE CHECKS AND OTHER ITEMS FOR AND ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that convenience and necessity in the handling of
certain funds of the City of Anaheim require the establish-
ment of the following accounts in a bank or banks located
in the City of Anaheim:
City of Anaheim Commercial Account
Veterans Public Housing,
City of Anaheim Commercial Account
Magnolia. Trunk Sewer Project Construction Fund,
City of Anaheim Checking Account
1951 Sewer Bonds Acquisition and Construction
Fund, City of Anaheim Checking Account
1951 Sewer Bonds Acquisition and Construction
Fund, City of Anaheim Inactive Account
AND WHEREAS, the City Council further finds that the
Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Anaheim should be author-
ized to execute checks and other items for and on behalf of
the City in connection with said accounts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of
Anaheim establish in its name deposit accounts as set forth
above with the Bank of America National Trust and Savings
Association (Anaheim Branch) upon such terms and conditions
as may be agreed upon with said bank, and that the Mayor and
City Clerk of said City be, and they are hereby, authorized
to establish such accounts.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Chas. A. Pearson, Mayor
and Dene M. Williams, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim be,
and they are hereby, authorized to withdraw funds of said City
from the above named accounts upon checks of said City, signed
by Chas. A. Pearson, Mayor and Dene M. Williams, City Clerk,
and that said bank be, and it is hereby, authorized to honor
and pay any and all checks so signed, including those drawn
to the individual order of any officer authorized to sign the
same.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Anaheim
agrees with the Bank of America National Trust and Savings
Association that the accounts above named be carried by said
bank in the manner and type of account as above indicated, and
that all funds which the City of Anaheim has or may have on
deposit therein with said bank shall be governed by its by-
laws, all future amendments thereof, all regulations passed
or hereafter to be passed by its Board of Directors pursuant

to said by -laws, and by all rules and practices of said
bank relating thereto, including interest, service charges,
etc.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved
by me this 10th day of August, 1954.

I, DENE M. WILLIAMS, City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim, do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Anaheim, held on the 10th day of August, 1954,
by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Pearson, Fry, Schutte, Wisser
and Van Wagoner.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City
of Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution on the 10th
day of August, 1 954.
