have filed with the City Council a written request, requesting the
consent of the City Council of the City of Anaheim to the commence-
ment of proceedings for the annexation of the hereinafter de-
scribed territory to the City of Anaheim, and stating that said
territory is inhabited territory and is contiguous to the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
it would be to the advantage and benefit of the City of Anaheim
and to the qualified electors residing within said territory to
permit the above named proponents to commence proceedings for the
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim, upon the con-
ditions hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, said request has been referred to the City
Planning Commission and its report and recommendations received
recommending the granting of consent to commence proceedings for
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the consent of the City Council be, and
it is hereby, given to said proponents to commence proceedings for
the annexation of the hereinafter described territory to the City
of Anaheim, upon the following conditions:
First: That the proposal for annexation of said terri-
tory to the City of Anaheim shall be submitted to and reported
upon to the proponents by the Boundary Commission of the County
of Orange, with respect to the definiteness and certainty of pro-
posed boundaries.
Second: That no petition be circulated for the annexat-
ion of said territory until after notice of intention to circulate
such petition has been published as required by law and a copy of
such notice and an affidavit of publication has been filed with
the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim within ten (10) days after
the date of publication of said notice, and a resolution has been
adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim acknowledging
receipt of said notice and approving the circulation of said petit-
ion.
Third: That the circulation of any petition for the
annexation of said territory to the City of Anaheim shall not be
commenced until twenty -one (21) days after the publication of said
notice of intention to circulate the same.
The boundaries of the territory for which proceedings
arc proposed to be commenced for the annexation thereof to the City
of Anaheim are described as follows:
A parcel of land being a portion of Sections 7, 8, 9, 18
and 19, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base
and Meridian and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing Anaheim City
Limits Line as established by the Gilbert Street Annexation to
the City of Anaheim by annexation No, 37, passed by Ordinance
No. 868, dated November 24, 1953 and filed with the Secretary
of State on January 11, 1954, said point also being the most
northwesterly right -of -way corner of Orange Avenue (40 feet wide)
and Gilbert Street (50 feet wide); thence,
1. Northerly along said existing Anaheim City Limits Line
and westerly right -of -way line of said Gilbert Street to the most
northwesterly right-of-way corner of said Gilbert Street and
Crescent Avenue (L.0 feet wide); thence,
2. Easterly 2,000 feet, more or less, along northerly right
of -way line of said Crescent Avenue and said existing Anaheim
City Limits Line to an angle point in said existing Anaheim City
Limits Line; thence,
3. Northerly 1,305 feet, more or less, along said existing
Anaheim City Limits Line to an angle point; thence,
4. Westerly 2,000 feet, more or less, along said existing
Anaheim City Limits Line to an angle point, said angle point also
being located on the said westerly right -of -•way line of Gilbert
Street; thence,
5. Northerly, along said existing Anaheim City Limits line
and said westerly right -of -way line of Gilbert Street to the
most northwesterly right-of-way corner of said Gilbert Street
and La Palma Avenue (60 feet wide); thence,
6. Easterly along said existing Anaheim City Limits Line
and northerly right -of -way line of said La Palma Avenue to the
southwesterly line of the Southern Pacific Company right -of -way
(70 feet wide); thence,
7. Southeasterly along said southwesterly right-of-way line
of Southern Pacific Company and said existing Anaheim City Limits
Line to the angle point in said Gilbert Street Annexation said
point also being in the southerly line of the Ni of NW4 of Sec-
tion 8, T4S, R1OW, SBB&M; thence,
8. Easterly along said existing Anaheim City Limits Line
and said southerly line of the Na of the NW4 of Section 8, T4S,
RIOW, SBB&M, and crossing said Southern Pacific Company right -of-
way and Manchester Avenue to the most easterly corner of said
Gilbert Street Annexation, said point also being an angle point
in the Allison -Honer Annexation to the City of Anaheim, Annex-
ation No. 34 as passed by Ordinance No. 837 on February 24, 1953
and filed with the Secretary of State on March 27, 1953; thence,
9. Continuing easterly along said southerly line of the
Ni of the NW* of Section 8, T4S, R1OW, SBB&M and said existing
Anaheim City Limits Line to the most southeasterly corner of said
Allison -Honer Annexation, said point also being the most south-
westerly corner of the proposed West La Palma No. 3 Annexation to
the City of Anaheim; thence,
10. Continuing easterly 1,980 feet, more or less, along the
south line of the N2 of the NE4 of Section 8, T4S, R1OW, SBB&M
and south line of said proposed West La Palma No. 3 Annexation to
the east line of the E2 of W2 of NE4 of NE* of Section 8, T4S,
R1OW, SBB&M, said point also being the most southeasterly corner
of said proposed West La Palma No. 3 Annexation; thence,
11. Northerly 1,290 feet, more or less, along easterly line
of said proposed West La Palma No. 3 Annexation and said east line
of the E2 of the WW of the NE4 of the Na of Section 8, T4S,
RlOW, SBB&M to a point in the southerly right -of -way line of said
La Palma Avenue, said point also being the most northeasterly

corner of said proposed West La Palma Annexation No. 3, and
also being located in the existing Anaheim City Limits line
as established by the Houston Avenue Annexation to the City
of Anaheim, Annexation No, 32, as passed by Ordinance No.
830 on Januar 13, 1953 and filed with the Secretary of State
on February 2L, 1953; thence,
12. Easterly along southerly right -of -way line of said
La Palma Avenue and said existing Anaheim City Limits Line to
the most southeasterly corner of said Houston Avenue Annex-
ation said point also being the most southeasterly right-of-
way corner of said La Palma Avenue and Euclid Avenue (60 feet
wide); thence,
13. Southerly along easterly right -of -way line of said
Euclid Avenue to the most northwesterly corner of the Loara
Annexation to the City of Anaheim, as recorded on June 10,
1954; thence,
14. Continuing southerly along said easterly right -of -way
line of Euclid Avenue and westerly line of said Loara Annex-
ation to the most northeasterly right -of -way corner of said
Crescent Avenue and said Euclid Avenue, said point also being
the most northeasterly corner of the Montgomery Annexation to
the City of Anaheim by Annexation No. 29, as passed by Ordi-
nance No. 818 on September 10, 1952 and filed with the Secretary
of State on October 10, 1952; thence,
15. Westerly along the northerly line of said Montgomery
Annexation and northerly right -of -way line of said Crescent
Avenue to the most northwesterly corner of said Montgomery
Annexation; thence
16. Southerly along existing Anaheim City Limits line and
westerly line of said Montgomery Annexation to the most south-
westerly corner of said Montgomery Annexation; thence,
17. Continuing southerly along said existing Anaheim City
Limits line crossing said Manchester Avenue and said Southern
Pacific Company right -of -way to a point in the southwesterly
right -of -way line of said Southern Pacific Company said point
also being the northeasterly corner of the Lincoln Annexation
to the City of Anaheim by Annexation No. 40 as passed by
Ordinance No. 888 on March 23, 1954 and filed with the Secretary
of State on April 26, 1954; thence,
18. Northwesterly along said southwesterly right -of -way
line of the Southern Pacific Company and northeasterly line of
said Lincoln Annexation to a point in the southerly right -of-
way line of said Crescent Avenue; thence,
19. Westerly along said southerly right-of-way line of
Crescent Avenue and northerly line of said Lincoln Annexation
to the northwest corner of said Lincoln Annexation; thence,
20. Southerly 1,300 feet, more or less, along the westerly
line of said Lincoln Annexation to a poin t in the northerly
line of the Si of Section 8, T4S, R10W, SBB&M; thence,
21. Easterly 20 feet, more or less, along said northerly
line of the Si of Section 8, T4S, RlOW, SBB&M and southerly
line of said Lincoln Annexation to an angle point in said Lincoln
Annexation; thence,
22. Southerly 1,290 feet, more or less, along westerly
line of said Lincoln Annexation to a point in the northerly
right -of -way line of Lincoln Avenue (60 feet wide) said point
also being the most southwesterly corner of said Lincoln Annex-
ation and also being located in the northerly line of proposed
Orange Avenue Annexation to the City of Anaheim; thence,
23. Westerly along said northerly right-of-way line of
Lincoln Avenue and northerly line of said proposed Orange Avenue
Annexation to the most northwesterly right -of -way corner of said

Lincoln Avenue and Brookhurst Street (60 feet wide) said point
also being the most northwesterly corner of said proposed
Orange Avenue Annexation; thence,

Brookhurst Street and westerly line of said proposed Orange
Avenue Annexation to the most southwesterly right -of -way
corner of said Brookhurst Street and Ball Road (60 feet wide)
said point also being the most southwesterly corner of said
proposed Orange Avenue Annexation; thence,
25. Westerly along southerly right -of -way line of said
Ball Road to the southerly prolongation of the easterly line
of Tract No. 787, as shown in Book 24 at Page 9, Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County; thence,
26. Northerly along said easterly line of Tract No. 787
and its southerly prolongation across Ball Road to the most
northeasterly corner of Lot 3, Block A of said Tract No, 787;
thence,
27. Easterly along the easterly prolongation of the north-
erly line of said Lot 3, Block A to the Southerly prolongation
of the westerly line of Lots 23 through 33 of Tract No. 796 as
shown in Book 21i. at Page 28 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of
Orange County; thence,
28. Northerly along said westerly line of Lots 23 through
33 and its southerly prolongation to the easterly prolongation
of the southerly line of Lots 21 and 22 of said Tract No. 796;
thence,
29. Westerly along said southerly line of Lots 21 and 22
and its easterly prolongation to the most southwesterly corner
of said Lot 21; thence,
30. Northerly along westerly line of said Lot 21 and its
northerly prolongation to the northerly right -of -way line of
Orange Avenue; thence,
31. Easterly along said northerly right -of -way line of
Orange Avenue to an angle point in the existing Anaheim City
Limits as established by the said Gilbert Street Annexation;
