1954-2469WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did duly pass
and adopt its Resolution No. 7'8 Series 1953 -54 finding and
determining that the Anaheim Municipal Code, Section 9200.14,
A. Use. 2. Parking Requirements, should be amended as set
forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration, the City Council
does find and determine that a change should be made in the
Anaheim Municipal Code, Section 9200.14, A. Use, 2. Parking
Requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Section 9200.14, A. Use. 2. Park-
ing Requirements, of the Anaheim Municipal Code be amended to
read as follows:
"A. USE:
"2. PARKING REQUIREMENTS.
"(a) FOR CHURCHES, HIGH SCHOOL, COLLEGE AND
UNIVERSITY AUDITORIUMS and other places of
occasional assembly, at least one parking space
for every ten (10) seats, except for regularly
established churches in presently existing
locations on the date of the passage of this
Code change."
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney
be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and
submit to the City Council an amendment to Section 9200.14
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to amend said Code to ac-
complish the object herein found and determined to be neces-
sary and proper.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 13th day of July, 1954.
