1954-2429A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING AN
AGREEMENT TO BE MADE AND ENTERED INTO BY
AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR
THE PURCHASE AND SALE OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the real property described as Lot 9 in
Block D in Tract 724 in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, as per map recorded in
Book 21, Page 23, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange
County, California, was sold and deeded to the State
of California for the non payment of taxes which had
been legally levied and -which were a lien upon said
property under and in accordance with law, and
WHEREAS, it is within the power and discretion of
the City of Anaheim, pursuant to Division 1, Part 6,
Chapter 8 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State
of California, to purchase the above described property
by agreement with the Board of Supervisors of Orange
County, and with the approval of the State Controller
of the State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City enter into an agree-
ment with the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Orange, for the purchase by the City of the above described
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed
to execute said agreement for and in behalf of the City
of Anaheim in the manner and form and upon the terms and
conditions as set forth in the agreement hereto attached
and made a part hereof.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by
me this 25th day of May 1954.
