A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING LOCATIONS FOR PARKING
METERS, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 3 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE, AND FIXING THE TIME FOR THE
COMMENCEMENT OF THE OPERATION OF SUCH METERS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
duly adopted on July 22, 1952 the Anaheim Municipal Code
and Chapter 3 thereof, defining and establishing Parking
Meter Zones, providing for the installation, use and con—
trol of parking meters, relating to traffic and regulating
use of public streets, and providing for enforcement and
penalties for violation thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance adopting said Anaheim Munici—
pal Code having been duly published, as required by law,
on the 24th day of July, 1952 and said Ordinance having
taken effect on the 22nd day of August, 1952, and said
Anaheim Municipal Code having become effective on said
date; and
WHEREAS, said Anaheim Municipal Code provides that
said parking meters shall be installed by the City Engineer
in such locations as the City Council of the City of
Anaheim shall, by resolution, from time to time determine
and order within the zones established by said Chapter 3
of said Anaheim Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City Engineer of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to install the following number of parking meters at the
following locations:
South Clementine a total of 6 2 hour
parking meters on both sides
of South Clementine between
Oak and Chestnut Streets.
4 meters on south side and
2 meters on east side.
South Philadelphia —a total of 10 2 hour parking
meters -5 meters on each side
of street between Center Street
and the Alley.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that 9:00 o'clock A. M. on
the 1st day of June 1954 is hereby fixed as
the time for the official commencement of parking meter
operations under Chapter 3 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
as amended, at the above locations.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by

NOES: COUNCILMEN None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN None.
And I further certify that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Resolution on the 25th
day of May 1954.
