A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEtTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for public utilities
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no /100 1.00) Dollar; and
'THEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Ana-
heim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE* IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ARTHUR V. VAN TUYLE and
FRANCES A. VAN TUYLE, husband and wife,to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
An easement for public utilities over, under or
across the northeasterly ten (10) feet of the
easterly eighty -five (85) feet of the westerly
two hundred eighty -one and seven hundredths
(281.07) feet of the northerly two hundred eighty
eight (288) feet of Lot 1, of Anaheim Extension,
as shown on a map thereof filed in Book 3, Pages
162 -164 of Maps, Records of Los Angeles County.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
i'ity of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar.
