A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCErTING A GRAFT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening
purposes an
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no /100 01.00) Dollar; and
THEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Ana-
heim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
N0'1, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HARMON W. SUMI ERS and MARY
E. ,°,U1 SiERS, husband and wife, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
That portion of Lot 10 of Anaheim Extension, in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map of survey
made by William Hamel and filed in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, a copy of which is recorded in Book 3 pages
163, et seq., entitled "Los Angeles County Maps", in the office of
the County Recorder of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the East line of the West 5 acres of
the East 10 acres of the North 20 acres of said Lot 10, with the
Southerly line of the land described in a deed to the State of
California for the Anaheim -Olive Road recorded April 29, 1937 in
Book 885 page 254 of Official Records of said Orange County; thence
Westerly 1 feet along said Southerly line being a curve concave
to the South having a radius of 2,960.00 feet to the Westerly line of
said West 5 acres; thence Southerly 10.11 feet along said West line
to a curve concave to the South having a radius of 2,950.00 feet and
concentric with said first mentioned curve; thence Easterly along
said last mentioned curve to the East line of said West 5 acres;
thence Northerly 10.11 feet to the point of beginning.
Said strip of land is shown on a map filed in Book 27 page 32 of
Records of Surveys in the office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County.
To be used for street widening purposes.
re, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
;'•ty of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar.
