1954-2371WHEREAS, heretofore, to wit, or the 26th day of January, 1954, the City Council did duly ,pass and adopt Resolution No. 2 33 2 accepting a grant deed conveying to the City of Anaheim certain real property for an easement for street widening pur- poses tendered to the City by Harmon W. Summers and Mary E. Summers, husband&wife, which said property described in said deed is situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and was more particularly described as follows: The North 220 feet, measured from the center line of East Center Street, of the West 5 acres of the East 10'acres of the North 20 acres of Lot 10, Anaheim Extension, in the County of Orange, State of California, the boundaries of all of said tracts being parallel with the North and East boundaries of said Lot 10. and RESOLUTION NO. 2371 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE RECONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY DEEDED TO THE CITY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET WIDEN- ING PURPOSES, BECAUSE OF AN ERROR IN THE DESCRIPTION OF SAID PROPERTY. RESERVING therefrom the Northerly 37* links for East Center Street, as shown on said plat. WHEREAS, the City Council finds that by inadvertence, an error was made in describing said property and that instead of conveying to the City a 10 foot strip for street widening purposes, the whole parcel of property owned by said grantors was inadvertently conveyed to the City, and WHEREAS the City Council finds that by reason of said error in the description of said property, the above described property should be transferred by the City to the said Harmon W. Summers and Mary E. Slimmers, husband and wife, and a new deed executed by them and delivered to the City, conveying to the City an easement 10 feet in width upon, over and across the above described property, the exact location of which shall be determined by the City Engineer. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council that the above described real property be conveyed to Harmon W. Summers and Mary E. Summers, husband and wife, upon condition that they execute and deliver to the City of Anaheim a new deed conveying to the City a strip of land 10 feet in width upon, over and across said real property, the location of which shall be determined by the City Engineer, for street widening purposes. AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized to execute and deliver to Harmon W. Summers and Mary E. Summers, husband and wife, a deed conveying to them the real property and premises herein above described. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was approved and signed by me this 23rd day of March 1954.
