A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCErTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR STREET WIDENING PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
nublic purposes, to wit: An easement for street widening purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no /100 1.00) Dollar; and
t:IHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Ana-
heim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE II RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of DAVID CORDERMA.N and LOUISE
C ORDERMAN_ husband and wife_________ to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
To be used for street widening purposes
A portion of Lot 10 of Miles Rancho as shown on a map thereof recorded
in Book 4,Page 7, of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California, described as follows:
Parcel 1: Commencing at the center line intersections of West
La Palma Avenue, 60 feet wide, and North West Sheet, 40 feet wide,
and running thence Easterly along the center line of said West
La Palma Avenue 361.95 feet to a point; thence N 0 °24 W 30 feet
to a 1 inch iron pipe bearing a metal tag "No. 2477" as shown on
Record of Survey map recorded in Book 26, Page 5, of Records of
Surveys of Orange County, California, said 1 inch iron pipe also
being the true point of beginning; thence continuing N 0 W
10 feet to a point; thence S 89°42 W and parallel to the center
line of said La Palma Avenue 25 feet to a point; thence S 0
E 10 feet to a 1 inch iron pipe bearing a metal tag "No.2477" as
shown on said Record of Survey; thence N 89 42 4 00" E 25 feet to the
true point of beginning.
Parcel 2: Commencing at the center line intersections of West
La Palma Avenue, 60 feet wide. and North WPgt gt,..+ hn
re, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
:ity of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar.
