A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCErTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for Public Utilities
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One and no /100 ($1.00) Dollar; and
1HEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Ana-
heim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOWT, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of WAYNE ROSS JONES and MYRTLE
HELENE JONES husband_and wif e, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more partic-
ularly described as follows:
An easement for public utilities over, under and
across that portion of the Southwest quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 12, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, S.B.B. M., described as follows: Beginning
at the Southeast corner of said Southwest quarter; thence
North 0° 10' 40" East along the East line of said South-
west quarter, 20 feet to the Southeast corner of Tract No.
1843, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 53, page 46 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California;
thence South 89 511 35" West along the South line of said
Tract No. 1843, 5 feet; thence South 0 09 55" West to a
point in the Northerly line of the Anaheim -Olive Road;
thence Southeasterly along the Northerly line of Anaheim
Olive Road to a point in the East line of the Northwest
quarter of said Section 12; thence North along the East
line of said Northwest quarter to the point of beginning.
he and the same 16 hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
:ity of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER ;RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City of
Anaheim, the sum of One and no /100 (1.00) Dollar.
