A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING LOCATIONS
FOR PARKING MF�TERS, PURSUANT TO CHAPTER
3 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, AND
FIXING THE TIME FOR THE COMMENCEMENT OF
THE OPHATION OF SUCH METERS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
duly adopted on July 22, 1952 the Anaheim Municipal Code
and Chapter 3 thereof, defining and establishing Parking
Meter Zones, providing for the installation, use and con-
trol of parking meters, relating to traffic and regulating
use of public streets, and providing for enforcement and
penalties for violation thereof; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance adopting said Anaheim
Municipal Code having been duly published, as required
by law, on the 24th day of July, 1952 and said Ordinance
having taken effect on the 22nd day of August, 1952, and
said Anaheim Municipal Code having become effective on
said date; and
WHEREAS, said Anaheim Municipal Code provides
that said parking meters shall be installed by the City
Engineer in such locations as the City Council of the City
of Anaheim shall, by resolution, from time to time determine
and order within the zones established by said Chapter 3
of said Anaheim Municipal Code.
N0', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City Engineer of the City of
Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to in-
stall the following number of parking meters at the following
location:
West Broadway Nineteen meters in the
100 block on West Broadway
on both sides of the street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the definite loca-
tion of the parking meters for the parking spaces described
above shall be as established by engineer stationing for
each block, as shown on the following drawings on file in
the Office of the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim:
For parking meters in the 100 block on
West Broadway street on both sides of
the street, Reference Drawing No. 1 -8 -39.
BtaE IT FURTH R RESOLVED that 9:00 o'clock A.M. on
the day of 195 is hereby fixed
as the time for the official commencement of parking meter
operations under Chapter 3 of the Anaheim Municipal Code as
amended, at the above location.
