1953-2230WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Anaheim, on April 8, 1952,
adopted Resolution No. 1948 requesting aid to the City of Anaheim in the amount
of Six Thousand Five Hundred Thirty -Eight and 23/100 Dollars ($6,538.23) out of
the County's apportionment of the California Highway Users' Tax Fund for the im-
provement of East and West Vermont Avenue as per detailed plans; and
WHEREAS, The County of Orange, on May 6, 1952, found and determined
such improvement to be of general County interest, and said request was granted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the City Council of the
City of Anaheim hereby finds that the work as proposed for the Improvement of East
alai. West Vermont Avenue, as hereinabove referred to, has been completed and said
work is hereby accepted.
That the total cost of the work was Ten Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-
Eight and 15/100 Dollars ($10, ?78.15), and request is hereby made to the County
of Orange that the City be reimbursed in the sum of Six Thousand Five Hundred
Thirty -Eight and 23/100 Dollars ($6,538.23) as set forth in said Resolution of
the County of Orange dated May 6, 1952.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim be,
and he is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, State of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me this 25th day
of August, 1953.
