1953-2131WHEREAS, the LATIN AMERICAN BOARD OF THE METHODIST CHURCH, a corporation duly incorporated and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of California, is the owner of that certain parcel of land situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: and RESOLUTION NO. 2131 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY REQUIRED FOR PUBLIC USE AND AUTHOR- IZING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN PROPERTY NOW OWNED BY THE CITY AS PART CONSIDERATION THEREFOR. Lots 27 and 28 in Vineyard Lot "E5 as shown on a Map of "The Langenberger Tract recorded in Book 1, Pages 551 and 552 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; WHEREAS, said property is needed by the City of Anaheim for public use and purposes; and WHEREAS, said LATIN AMERICAN BOARD OF THE METHODIST CHURCH has offered to transfer and convey said parcel of land to the City of Anaheim in consideration of the sum of Five Thousand and 00 /100 Dollars ($5,000.00) in cash and a conveyance to it of a tract of land owned by the City of Anaheim and situated in the City of Anaheim, County of 0range, State of California, more par- ticularly described as follows, to wit: Lot 11 and the Westerly 24 feet of Lot 13 of the Anaheim Home Tract, as shown on a map thereof filed in Book 6, page 34, Miscellaneous Maps and Records of Orange County, California; WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the land and premises first hereinabove described now owned by the LATIN AMERICAN BOARD OF THE METHODIST CHURCH is needed by the City of Anaheim for public use and. purposes and does find and determine that it is more suitable for public use and purposes than the property now owned by the City last hereinabove described and that -1-
