1953-2112RESOLUTION NO 2112 A RESOLUTION 0: THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE CITY OF ANAIIEIE ACCEPTING A GRANT DE ED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL Ft OPT ?i`2Y FOR AN EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES '=FEAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasin the hereinafter described real property for public purposes, to wit: An easement for public utilities and WNT1R AS, the owners of said property have offered to sell_ said hereinafter described real. property to the City of Anaheim for the sum of Ono and no /100 Dollar; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to :ccert said offer and purchase said real property. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED D by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that t he offer of EVERT S. PETERSON and ANNA LOUISE ROBERT C. AURAND and RITA J. =AND, husband and wife, PETERSON, husband and wife, and to sell to the City of Anaheim the fo11owinr; described real property situated in the City of Anaheim County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly des- cribed as follows: That portion of Dreyfus and other lands, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a Map of Survey made by William Hamel and filed for record in Los Angeles County, a copy of which is filed in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County on pages 163 et seq of Book 3, entitled "Los Angeles County Records described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Southerly Prolongation of the center line of Orange Street, as shown on said Map of Survey of William Hamel with the South line of the "Original Anaheim" as shown on a map recorded in. Book 4, page 629 and 630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California; thence South 74 -30' West along said South line to a line distant thereon 210.00 feet from and Parallel with the West line of the Atcheson, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company's 50 —foot strip of land as described in Deed to the California Central Railway Company recorded March 26, 1888 in Book 407, page 135 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California; thence Southerly along said parallel line, to a line distant thereon 660.00 feet from and parallel with said South line of the "Original Anaheim thence Easterly along said last mentioned parallel line to the said prolongation of the center line of Orange Street; thence Northerly along said prolongation to the point of beginning. EXCEPT THEREFROM any portion on the North now included in South Street. ALSO EXCEPT THEREFROM any portion included within the said Atcheson, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company's land. be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said property. IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the City cf Anahe:m bo, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners or sa:d real property, out of Coneral Funds of the City of Analleim, th- sum of Ono and no/100 (c.1.00) Dollar.
