ANAHEIE ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVE'Y.ING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROP FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR PUBJ IQ UTILITIES
`iIIEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for public
purposes, to wit: An easement for public utilities

IEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim for
the stmr. of On4e and no /100 G,1.00) Dollar; and
WHEREAS, the City- Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to
ccept said offer and purchase said. real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of WILLIAM BERK and ROSE H. BERK,
husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anahoim
the following described .real property situated in the City of Anaheim,.
County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
That portion of Dreyfus and others land, in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a Map of Survey
made by William Hamel and filed for record in Los Angeles County,
a copy of which is filed in the office of the County Recorder of
said Orange County, on pages 163 et seq of Book 3, entitled "Los
Angeles County Records described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Southerly prolongation of the
center line of Orange Street, as shown on said Map of Survey by
William Hamel, with the south line of the "Original Anaheim" as
shown on a map recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds,
records of Los Angeles County, California; thence South 74 -30'
West along said South line to a line distant thereon 510.00 feet
from and parallel with the West line of the Atcheson, Topeka and
Santa Fe Railway Company's 50 foot strip of land as described in
deed to the California Central Railway Company, recorded March 26,
1888 in Book 407, page 135, of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County,
California; thence Southerly 245.00 feet along said parallel line;
thence 7L. -30 West to the Easterly line of Lot 5 of the Weight,
Freeman and McCloughan Subdivision, as per Record of Survey Map
filed in Book 1, page 2 of Records of Surveys of said. Orange County;
thence Southerly along said Easterly line to a line distant thereon
660.00 feet from and parallel with said South line of the "Original
Anaheim thence Easterly along said last mentioned parallel line
to the said prolongation of the center line of Orange Street; thence
Northerly along said prolongation to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept e conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
sum of One and no/100 (?1.00) Dollar.
