RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS ENTITLED, "RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE USE OF LA PALMA PARK FOR BASEBALL GAMES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT THEREFOR." WHEREAS, heretofore, to —wit; on the llth day of February, 1947, The City of Anaheim, A Municipal Corporation, and Harry C. Leddel and Henry C. Cohn entered into an Agreement wherein and whereby The City of Anaheim granted to the said Harry C. Leddel and Henry C. Cohn the right to use La Palma Park in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, for evening baseball games on week days and for baseball games on Sunday afternoon on the dates on which games are regularly schedu- led in the Sunset League during the baseball playing season of 1947, and WHEREAS, the said Harry C. Leddel and Henry 0. Cohn desire to use said La Palma Park for evening games on Sunday, said games to begin at 6:30 o'clock P. M., and WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that there is no good reason why said Agreement entered into on the llth day of February, 1947 should not be modified to grant to the said Harry C. Leddel and Eenry C. Cohn the right to use said La Palma Park on Sunday evenings for regularly scheduled baseball to commence at 6:30 o'clock P. M.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that the said Harry C. Leddel and Henry C. Cohn be and they are hereby granted permission to use the said La Palma Park in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California. for evening baseball games on Sunday evenings during the regular season of the Sunset League for the playing of regularly scheduled games during such season, such games to commence at 6:30 o'clock 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 P. M. on the Sundays that games are regularly scheduled in the Sunset League, and that in all other respects the Agreement made and entered into the llth day of February, 1947 be and remain in full force and effect, and BE IT FURTHER RE -OLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim be and they are hereby authorized and empowere to enter into a written Agreement with the said Harry C. Leddel and Henry C. Cohn in accordance with this Resolution. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me this 22nd day of July, 1947.
